British Wildlife Photography Awards 2023 showcased the stunning natural world of Britain through the lenses of this year’s winners. The competition received more than 13,000 photos from amateur and professional photographers from all over the United Kingdom, demonstrating the rich biodiversity of the island. The competition serves as a reminder of the value of Britain’s woodlands, wetlands, and other ecosystems.
The adult photographers competed across ten categories, including Animal Behavior, Animal Portraits, Botanical Britain, Black and White, British Seasons, Coast and Marine, Habitat, Hidden Britain, Urban Wildlife, and Wild Woods. Meanwhile, young photographers competed across three age groups: 11 and under, 12-14 years, and 15-17 years. Charlie Page was the grand prize winner of this year’s competition.
