In The Young and the Restless, it appears that Victoria Newman is the next potential target for suffering, especially if Claire Grace has her way.

Claire is revealing her sinister side and harbors intentions of causing significant distress to the Newman family.

Claire thinks the pompous Newmans are the worst kind of people, so she’s moving forward with a plot that’ll force all of them to pay.

Of course, Claire seems most interested in getting revenge on Nikki Newman, who’s currently being held hostage at Aunt Jordan’s lake house.

However, Claire has shown disdain for Victoria as well, so Nikki’s daughter could become a new kidnapping victim.

That’s especially true now that Claire’s been hinting about a little family reunion.

Claire refuses to “ruin the surprise” before the rest of Nikki’s family gets there.

Does Claire plan to lure the Newmans to the lake house one by one and force them all to watch Nikki face a grim fate?

Regardless, Claire’s definitely holding a grudge over something buried in Nikki’s history.

Aunt Jordan relates to all this since she pressured Claire to move forward with this scheme, but things still need to unravel a bit more.

As for Victoria, her decision to walk away from Newman Enterprises could leave her vulnerable to Claire’s trap.

Victor Newman feels like Victoria is going to spin out if she puts Newman Enterprises in the rearview mirror, so that could be significant.

This could lead to a situation where everyone assumes Victoria has gone off the rails and disappeared to Vegas or somewhere else away from all the family drama.

Victoria’s vanishing act may not raise too many red flags since Victor predicts her life will crumble without the company.

Maybe Victor will guess Victoria is proving him right by resorting to self-destructive tendencies somewhere.

Whatever the case, Claire has done her fair share of glaring at Victoria’s picture, so she may target Nikki’s daughter next and find some way to get her to the lake house.
